New Project CARS Screenshots Will Make You Drool All Over Your Monitor

DSOGaming writes: "Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. Project CARS looks phenomenal, and the following images are based on the game’s latest development builds that are available to test for all WMD members." (PC, Project CARS, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Except its never been NOT clear where Project Cars screens came from. Gamers have had various builds of the game for years now.

In fact Slightly Mad relied heavily on gamers for the videos and screens early on.

EDIT: Just going to put this here:

"and the following images are based on the game’s latest development builds that are available to test for all WMD members"

Uhm it's PC. I'm not sure those screen are possible on PC, let alone console. Also they dont even have PS360 versions playable yet I don't think. Thyey're still test and tuning on PC.

Those screens are on PC the community takes the pics from the beta. The game does look like that I will also add the it has another year before it comes out so alpha pics...

You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Many people have paid the developers to beta test the game and its been running in Alpha on our computers with almost two years now. I have Project cars installed and it does look that good.

A blind guy could tell you these screenshots are from a PC. If you think a PS3 or Xbox 360 can make a game look like this, your insane. Without question this is from a high end PC

Ps3 and 360 have fantastic graphics in racing games. My laptop maxes out GRID on a 7670m and 1.6GHz quad core.

Pretty sure a console with much better specs then that can do far far better when they can do Gran Turismo and Forza with much better graphics then GRID on far worse hardware then my laptop. How hard is it to know about optimization?

Uhm, people have been playing the game for well over a year, I think its safe to assume these are real and in game
steve30x  +   410d ago
They are from the PC version. They are community screenshots from the people who paid to help get the game get developed and beta test the game.

I regret not initially supporting these guys, it's really looking good. Can't wait for the release.
