"Is that some sort of add-on for the Wii" -- Something I heard someone say at a Gamestop one time.

i own a wii u and i love it possibly the best console iv owned and i have had em all, but come on n4g these articles are getting old now, it was reported to day that even dispite wiius not selling as good nintendo still made a profit in the first 6months of this year so even if wii u does fail it really isnt effecting nintendo as much as these nooby articles and journalists are making owt. however i would actually like to see more GAMING NEWS not just copy and paste from other sites its a joke really well this sites wiiu section is anyway.

yea they made a profit barely. If they profit they made is no where close to what they told investors to expect it doesnt matter. You must not understand how corporations with investors work. You dont make them (investors) money they pull their money out, they pull the money out nintendo has less capital to develop games, advertise, manufacture hardware, and no money to develop the next systems.

It be like me telling you hey let me borrow $100 I'll pay you back $150 but I end up only giving you back $101. You're not going to let me borrow anymore money. So while these articles may be getting old to nintendo fans its the truth and it just doesnt look good for nintendo. They could turn it around but there's also the very big chance that the wii u, even with a price drop, could be put to sleep by the upcoming next gen console buzz.

I think it will be nintendo's last console, Asda (biggest supermarket in UK) no longer sells it (instore). That is not a good sign, especially such a short time after release.

If it sold well, people would stock it and devs would make games.

I've said this on my YouTube channel. Hyperbole and misinformation presented as news leads to people making boneheaded purchasing decisions.
