It's nice to hear someone say they want to give gamers value by including everything they can and not focusing on future DLC.

It was also interesting to hear him mension that now MS has got rid of online verification it will be harder to implement cloud functions with single player games now.

Yeah but having cloud functions isn't a bad thing from a development standpoint. Those can be used to create bigger single player worlds and always living worlds. I'm really interested to see a game that incorporates that idea. Sunset Overdrive is one. The idea is something that always changes due to the dev team always creating something new. Kind of adds unbelievable replayability to a game. Looking forward to that!

I was more interested in the offloading of processing to the cloud, if you look on vg leaks at the gpu they use display planes were the gpu can render different areas of the screen at different resolutions.
If you got the cloud to render 1/4 of the screen then you may be able get around some of the latency by streaming in the data in small chunks.
