Will the Watch Dogs Movie Rise Above its Failed Predecessors?

Developer Ubisoft has confirmed several video game movies are in production for the next couple of years. One of those movies will be based on Watch Dogs, a next-generation game that centers around stealth and computer hacking. The game has already won several awards at E3, but this could still be a risky move for Ubisoft, because the game’s popularity among fans is still unknown. Not to mention the fact that video game movies are almost uniformly bad. (Culture, Ubisoft, Watch Dogs)
