Jolt: Universe at War Review

Jolt writes: "We first reviewed Universe At War back in January when it was strictly a PC game, which, let's face it, the vast majority of decent real-time strategies are. If for some reason you've been waiting for the Xbox 360 release instead, we can tell you right now that there are no surprises in store. This is just the same game, but with a slightly crippled control scheme and some noticeable performance issues.

From developers Petroglyph, who also created Star Wars: Empire at War (see what they did?), it's clear from the very opening CGI, depicting what appears to be a bog-standard modern-day war suddenly being taken to another level by hulking aliens, that Universe at War has some decent production values. Even the story, despite its predictability, just about has enough to pull you into its world."

The story is too old to be commented.
