Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Won’t Have a Character Creation Benchmark for PS3

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players are eagerly awaiting for the release of the new benchmark that is scheduled to happen on August the 1st, especially because it’ll include a character creation utility that will allow new players to actually create and customize their characters and save their appearance. Unfortunately nothing like that will appear on PS3. (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, PC, PS3, PS4)

That makes it even less appealing to play the game due to lack of customisation in an MMORPG game.

PS3 users will still be able to customize them, just not til later in the beta...

Thanks for the clarification.

It's just a benchmark... The game itself has a character creator regardless of platform.

Take some time to actually find out before posting silly comments.

This title kinda sucks. It could use a lift to explain a bit better.

The Character edit option is for 1.0 Legacy players so we can change up our character's before the launch of the game,

atleast thats what it was first intended for.

A solution for ps3 players dl pc beta load your character from the benchmark, then load up the ps3 beta and transfer your character from the pc to ps3. As long as you can run min setting it should work and you can have your character created ahead of time like everyone else.

I can't imagine many console games have console benchmarks...kinda pointless since you can't swap parts.

Lol, this isn't even a big deal at all. The title had me confused but the word "benchmark" has a lot of weight. So we have to wait a bit, so what? lol
