Story hampered combat in BioShock Infinite, this DLC hopes to fix it

In some ways, BioShock Infinite's "Clash in the Clouds" challenge room add-on is an answer to some of the game's most vocal critics. But it's likely not the answer some of them were expecting. (BioShock: Infinite, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Personally the combat was like filler for me for the story, I would've played the game if all I did was walk around Columbia with Elizabeth hearing the full interaction between Her and Booker. Powerful acting hampered by immersion breaking combat.

That said the combat was immensely fun and occasionally challenging (played through on hard) so I guess its hard to please everyone but they came close here.

I don't think the shooting sequence was just a filler, some combat was really fun, but my personal opinion is even in the 1999 mode there isn't so much challenge because the predictable AI (and sometime the flat level design), but I really enjoy the game (got the platinum), enjoy the story, the combats, etc and I was very eager to know something about the DLC and this "clash in the cloud" it's not for me at all (sorry IG!)

I completely agree. The combat was filler to me as well. I, however, also loved the combat as well. It was refreshing.

This is so disappointing.

I want story DLC not fricken Single player horde mode.

What a wast e of my time Ken.

Lucky for them i have the season pass otherwise the 6 month turn around on the DLC could force me to lose interest with GTA and next gen console releases

Just to be clear i know they annouced story DLC too but i didn't see a Date for its release.
