This fan-made The Last Of Us short film is so much like the game it's scary

MMGN.com writes: If you managed to play The Last Of Us, then the above short film needs no introduction.

If you haven't played it ... well then I have nothing to say to you apart from: go and play it.

Once you're done, come back and watch this short film by YouTube'ers Iron Horse Cinema Productions, because they spectacularly manage to capture the tension and direction of the game. (PS3, The Last Of Us)

The girl did not do very good, and she looks not even close to ellie. But hey, this is a fan movie. But the guy IS basically Joel.

Actually he had to be older and rougher looking but they did a great job indeed.

This is astonishing! It got me thinking now that I have played it twice and absolutely love it. As so many do, there r a few things that would hav been easy to further increase the already insane immersion factor. First, not necessarily changing or adding enemy types, but at least altering how they look from locale to locale, or some short. They did good with the runners I guess. Second, knowing how many would use stealth and the chokehold, create like 5 different animations and randomly, have a guy break free from u. Last, knowing how often we would die, change some of the death animations. They did so wonderfully on creating every little detail of the environment, and yet some things u see over and over. Its similar to Infinite in that some things are the best we have ever seen, and others have u scratching ur head wondering why they didn't just go even further. My hat is off to Naughty Dog. The experience is unparallelled and has me excited about their future with next gen hardware.

Some of the camera shots weren't very Naughty Dog (yes it's not movie), but still enjoyable.

I REALLY enjoyed that, but Ellie really bothered me.

Otherwise amazing work from these guys and gals!
