PSP Firmware v3.95 Coming Soon

Eric Lempel, Director of PlayStation Network Operations, gives a quick update on the PSP firmware 3.95 that they will making available shortly. The update includes the following:

* While playing PSone games on your PSP, you can now customize how the buttons are assigned by going to [Controller Settings] > [Assign Buttons] and select [Custom].

* You can now quit Remote Play and choose to turn off your PS3 or leave it on after quitting. This is useful if you are performing a download and want to quit Remote Play, but still want your download to continue on the PS3. Select [Quit and Turn Off the PS3 System] or [Quit Without Turning Off the PS3 System] from [Quit Remote Play] when you press the HOME button on the PSP system.

i really like the ps blog. Its a lot better than the nonsense information bar on the ps3. As it actually provides useful information

Yeah they need to turn that thing into an actual RSS feeder already so it can be useful.

Freaking awesome, maybe a PS1 popsloader update is in order so I can finally play through P2 on my PSP instead of on the tv.

...a 2nd hand (fat) PSP with 3 games (Burnout, tekken and GTA: Vice City Stories) for $200 NZD. Also came with a 1GB memory stick and protective case.

Sure, its not the slim model but it was a real good deal as it was in as new condition. And now being able to remotely access my PS3 is just the icing on the cake. If you own a PS3 thats hooked up to the internet then you should also get yourself a PSP.
