How To Make Money in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Everybody Plays: "Wouldn't it be nice to afford that wrestling ring without having to worry about making your next loan repayment? How about dropping insane amounts of Bells on a Sweets Dresser without a care? Fortunately Animal Crossing doesn't seem to have been affected by the recession, as there's plenty of get-rich-quick schemes you can try your hand at - and through weeks of hard work here at Everybody Plays, we've even gathered up five of the most fool-proof methods for you" (3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf)

So many of these. Go to the island after 7 pm. The first time, remove the flowers and regular trees but not the coconut trees (those bushes are fine). Every time: get a rental rod and net. Get out the net. While scaring away any common bug, catch beetles on the trees by going slow when passing the tropical trees (remember to sneak with a, go slower when coming from behind a tree, and always approach slower with the Golden Stags and Hurcules beetles). I actually don't even catch the red colored goliath beetles because they're not as valuable. Also, catch any sharks with that rod. If you see a beetle/shark and you are still carrying a rod/net in your pocket, drop it to catch it and get it when you go back outside. Fill the box going home COMPLETELY and sell to Re-tail. Over 400,000 bells EVERY time.
