LittleBigPlanet studio crafting the collaborative future of video games

Peter Nowak: "I’ve been to a lot of video game studios, but Media Molecule’s offices may just be the most fascinating one yet. I’m visiting the British company on the auspicious mission of finding out what the future of games is, but the present – if my experience so far is any indication – is quite odd." (Industry, Media Molecule)

I really like Media Molecule. I think they have what it takes to be one of the greats. At the moment I am just leaving them at good because all they have done is LBP (which I think it an amazing series) and I want to see them do something different (criteria in being one of the greats for me)

If a 3d Little Big Planet is revealed at Gamescom where I can sculpt 3d objects with a move controller. I will lose my mind. Possibilities would be endless!

Screw Xbox and their dev kit. THIS is the future of game creation.

Since I picked up Littlebigplanet I've made hundreds of levels over the years in LBP1, LBP2 and LBPV. It is this factor that led me on to create my own game, their level creator inspired me to create my own game. Brilliant!
Thanks, MM.

Nice story dude. Very happy for ya. LBP is a great place to start to see if game development is for you. I can't wait for all the Xbots to get their 'dev kits' home. After five minutes they'll be like "...Now what the f--k do I do?"

I don't think they realise that a game has to be properly developed on a PC and not from the Xbone.
