I Stabbed My Way Through Killzone: Mercenary | BT Preview

Killzone: Mercenary isn’t going to change anyone’s minds about the franchise or even first-person shooters in general. The art design, tone, and gameplay sensibilities remain relatively standard for the genre. However, as an attempt to recreate the modern console FPS on handhelds, Guerrilla Cambridge has succeeded beyond my expectations. If you just want a mindless shooter for your daily commute or leisure time, then Mercenary should comfortably occupy the top spot in that niche. The PS Vita could certainly do worse.
