DICE set to reveal "first glimpse" of Battlelog for Battlefield 4 today

From Strategy Informer: "Stop everything! Later today we'll finally get to know more about the Battlelog system that DICE has put together for Battlefield 4. Hopefully it'll involve more external game launches and Internet browser plugins. Yay.

Oskar Gabreilson is the producer for Battlelog, and he'll be part of the upcoming trailer. Maybe we'll get to launch matches from within the game again? Fingers crossed."

Probably some single-player competition (Need For Speed:Most Wanted, Sleeping Dogs). I'm getting this on PS4 so maybe I can actually view battlelog in-game? I don't expect the PS4 browser to be fantastic.

I'm not sure how they'll work it, obviously, but on consoles I doubt it'll run in a browser like PC. Even though I do expect the next-gen console browsers to be as good as anything you'd find on any other platform (PC, tablet etc) as they certainly wont be starved of RAM this time.

Would be nice if it did.

I hope they updated the Battlelog, so it doesn't count against me as a win or lose for games I join as soon they end. Of late I have been in a lot of those. And no stat resets.

I guess to avoid make new UIs for consoles again they will include some kind of ingame basic browser based on webkit, just to display battlelog in the same way that PC.

Medal of Honor Warfighter had battelog in game, it wasn't that great and was rather annoying at times because if you hit the select button twice, battlelog would pop up. It was just an overall clunky system.

Can't wait to see the new Battlelog for BF4.
