Interview: Dynasty Warriors 8 Director Atsushi Miyauchi

Brad Longs at Aussie-Gamer.com writes: "Atsushi Miyauchi is the Director for feudal China hack ‘n’ slash Dynasty Warriors 8, and is the Manager of Software Department 1 at TECMO KOEI.
Joining KOEI (as it was called) in 1997, his first task was to program for the critically successful Nintendo 64 title WinBack.

After requesting a transfer to be more involved in action games, Miyauchi became involved with Omega Force, the team behind the Dynasty Warriors series, where his involvement started with the second game in the franchise, Dynasty Warriors 2. Dynasty Warriors 5 saw Miyauchi promoted to Lead Programmer, then Director for Dynasty Warriors 7 and 8.

During PAX Australia, Miyauchi was on hand with translator Carol Suzuki to promote Dynasty Warriors 8, and Aussie-Gamer were there to catch up with the man himself.
