Avenged Sevenfold’s Bat Country confirmed for Rocksmith 2014

It’s another week of Rocksmith 2014 reveals! Yesterday the clue posted by Rocksmith’s facebook page definitely referenced "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".

Avenged Sevenfold is a band with a absolutely massive fan base and fandom. Their music has always translated well to music games and of course with their DLC already being available for Rocksmith 2011, it seems like a great pick by Ubisoft SF.

I honestly expected this.

I'm happy this is going to be on Rocksmith 2014 but I would have preferred Unholy Confessions or Remenissions. I really want them to have something similar to Rock Band Network from Rock Band 2 if you don't know what that is it was a service that allowed bands and record labels to make their music available as DLC.

Unholy Confessions would have been awesome, though I would have wanted Second Heartbeat or Until the End most of all.

But I am considering geetting this game, hope they have a good metal/metalcore seletion of music.

CaptainYesterday1704d ago

Yeah me too :)
So what Metalcore bands are you into??

NovusTerminus1704d ago

Allot. blessthefall, Of Mice & Men, Famous Last Words, Crown the Empire, In Fear and Faith, Pierce the Veil, Eyes Set to Kill.

In other genre's I listen to A7X, Black Veil Brides, Disturbed, Epica, Escape the Fate, Bullet for my Valentine, AFI, Atreyu, Lacrimas Profundere.

FarCryLover1821703d ago

Hey, LordMe, have you heard AFI's new song?

jammy_701703d ago

You should try alter bridge, better than all the bands u listed..

NovusTerminus1703d ago

I Hope You Suffer is a great song, very good return to "Sing the Sorrow" style music.

And I shall check them out.

My favorite album of all time from them..well so far lol:D

KaMaHKaZiE1703d ago

A7X is best band of all time.

@Lord Me, almost all those bands aren't metalcore, especially pierce the veil

CaptainYesterday1703d ago

Yeah most of the bands he listed are post hardcore not metalcore but it's a common mistake.

True, but the line between Metalcore and Post-Hardcore is very thin. Both stem from Punk, but metalcore is most known for breakdowns, and I know PtV is far from Metalcore, they are closer to Punk Rock with screaming.

It was just an overall, I know the differences but they are kind of small at a glance, albiet large if you know what you are looking for.
