Get rid oh home its garbage and waste of space

MysticStrummer1672d ago

An optional free download is a waste of space?

As for the "garbage" label, it's not for everyone but Sony made tons of money with it so obviously some people like it.

Rockstar_51671d ago

On who did it make money oh wait the fools that purchased in-game content everyday yup waste of money and optional download get rid of it

XisThatKid1672d ago

Is it on your PS3? YES?then delete it, no longer a waste, NO? never wasted your time or space to begin with. As for me it was a great way for me and my brother living in another state to communicate in a fun was as gamers. It has great potential and the f done right coulda been an ace in the hole for Sony.

PS home is a completely diff animal since when it first started but you can't sell meat to a vegetarian. I imagin its pointless to tell most people this but if you havent been on home in along time try it out if still not for you delete it. dont buy sh*t.

ps3 is the only console that's fun to play even if u have no games on u.

If u don't understand this statement, u never played ps home.

I would like to see Home 2.0 on the PS4 with a hell of a lot more features and much faster loading times, then i would consider actually using it

SonyStyled1672d ago

loading times are only 10 seconds dude, assuming you already downloaded the gamespace. they where pretty rediculous at launch so based off your assumption loading times are long i would imagine you havent visited in quite some time

Goro1672d ago

When you join a gamespace it takes a few minutes for everyone's look to load

kreate1671d ago (Edited 1671d ago )

Again, it was like that near launch.
It doesn't take few minutes anymore.

But it also depends how much space u allocated for ps home as well as ur internet speed.

Son trying to capitalize on the success of Second Life. I guess imitation is the biggest form of flattery.

I didn't even know it was still out there. My issue with it was the load times but it is decent if those were every improved upon.

Home has it's uses. Believe or not, a good chunk of users in home have maybe two or three games on their trophy list. Every now and then I hook up my keyboard and get lost in conversation with people.

Rule of thumb - Don't treat home like a game and you won't be disappointed.

I went there during E3 for the free stuff and was pleasantly surprised that so many people were there. Not just for the E3 stuff either. There were people everywhere. I actually have some fun when in there, but usually don't have time to go because I have limited time to game as it is.
