Pikmin 3 Review | IGN Italia

IGN Italia: "Pikmin 3 is the best game in the series, but that's not enough to define it as a masterpiece. Game mechanics are effective and funny, thank to a flawless control system, but the absence of a true online mode and the lack of real new features don't help to differentiate the game from its predecessors. Anyway, this is a game that every Wii U owner should at least try, and the proof that Nintendo still is the master in terms of game design." (Pikmin 3, Wii U) 8.5/10

Original means new. The only difference is that Pikmin is HD. If you call it unoriginal, its not too far-fetched cause they're have been other games, games like Little King Story and Army Corps hell.

Originality is not the end all be all. Pikmin is the best that does it in that genre.

By unoriginal i meant the "IGNgorant" joke, I'm parodying fanboys who get butthurt when their favorite games get a point or so lower than they want which usually resorts to them using one of the most overused jokes on this site"IGNorant". i hope you see that the review site is IGN italia.

8.5 is a great rating. I am not at all worried. I'll have a blast like I did the other Pikmin games and that is all that matters.

i should have put /J or /S at the end then.

Eh still a good score could have been better if given to someone who actually likes Nintendo. The reviewer Keza hates Nintendo and is just annoying in everything she does. Still a pretty fair score for a nintentroll.

I hate Pikmin.

If I were in the world of Pikmin, I would douse them little teletubbie creatures with gasoline and set em on fire. Then I'd kick back and smoke a cigarette as I watch em all burn.

Hmm red pikmin are flame resistant tho.
Jagsrock  +   404d ago
What a badass. Fantasizing about going to a fictional world and burning fictional plant creatures. Better not mess with this guy.
Shad0wRunner  +   404d ago
I know right. If only the world had more people like me...there might be less of these redundant kiddie games being made. ^_-

while you watch them burn a pack of hungry red bulbords attack you and rip your limbs apart while red pikmins rejoice watching you suffer a bloody, miserable and painful death.

cool right?! :3 ♥

Did they seriously deduct points for lacking online when no pikmin has ever been online? What the heck can they even compare it with to deduct points? There idea of how they think online would be?
Knushwood Butt  +   403d ago
Using that logic, no Nintendo game ever needs to have an online component, or any new game modes of any kind, in order to guarantee a decent score.

Heck, while we're at it, let's just add points for having no online!!!
AWBrawler  +   403d ago
no what i mean is look at brawl, it had online, but it was laggy as heck and not what we expected. so how can you deduct points for something when you don't even know if it would work right. Brawl's didn't work right. so its kind of like they assumed the online would have been exactly as it was in their head, and since it didn't have online, they just deducted points.

Game review sites contradict themselves all the time.Pikmin also lost points because of length, although they didn't count mission modes ect...yet Ign gave Journy GOTY and it was only 3 hours long. Problem with most review sites is they are pretty biased.
Knushwood Butt  +   403d ago
Journey? Apart from anything, it was not a full-priced game.

Oh man, I can't wait to get my hands on this game. Only, it'll be a while :/
