Impressive line up.
Man that was a great lineup of games but that music really began to grait on my nerves. LOL
That music ..wow, annoying
Nice mix of current-gen and next-gen. I wonder is this a component used in the Forstbite 3 engine?
Battlefield 4 and Star Wars Battlefront are the first two games shown in the video..
Correct and they also show NFS Rivals which uses FB3. That's why I asked that question. And not to mention they showed MoH: WF & C&C which used both used FB2. So I was just wondering if the FB engine contained their software.
@MWong, Yes, the Enlighten middleware has been used by DICE since Frostbite 2. More recently it has also been integrated into the Unreal Engine too. In fact, with the exception of Eve Online by CCP Games, every other game in that video is running on either the Unreal Engine 3/4, or Frostbite 2/3.
Huh, I didn't know that all these games used the same lighting tech. Impressive.
Command and conquer is using the frostbite 2 engine (battlefield3) looks epic
Can't wait to see lots of real time global illumination, indirect illumination, and volumetric lighting next gen :)
So excited to see sub surface scattering implemented into real time environments... I can finally stop getting made fun of for painting subdermal materials for all my characters haha
Impressive sh*t right there.
