Why Monster Hunter Online Will Release In The West

The Monster Hunter franchise has never really been hugely popular here in the West, well that was until the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Nintendo Wii U. The Wii U struggled at launch due to a poor selection of available games but Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate saw massive increases in unit sales with France reporting a 300% increase while the UK enjoyed a 115% climb in Wii U sales. I don't even consider myself a Nintendo fan but I was excited enough to purchase the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Edition and I don't regret it a single bit. (Monster Hunter Online, PC)

I hope it will but I won't get my hopes up too high. This game hasn't even been confirmed for Japan so western release is very slim at the moment. It would be a shame if it would be China exclusive.

I believe it was already stated that this was an error on their end. The game will only release in Asian territory and MIGHT come to the West, if they have the time and resources.

When is the US going to get a PS3 monster hunter? i've been dying for this to happen but they always seem to try and avoid that, everyone else gets monster hunter games, but not PS3 except for the HD version in Japan only
