Wargaming planning local servers as it pushes into Australia

Wargaming, the Belarus-based strategy game developer best known for World of Tanks, is working on bringing local servers to Australia to help improve the online experience for gamers, as the company continues its push south of the equator.

Speaking with MMGN at PAX, general manager of Wargaming South-east Asia, Jasper Nicholas, said the Australian market was passionate about its games, despite its small population relative to other countries, and that the online gaming company was looking to expand its reach down under.
