A new screenshot and a wallpaper from the official Mafia 2 community site. Mafia 2 will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and Games for Windows, with gameplay being virtually identical across all platforms.
I can't understand that almost nobody is interested in this game .. it's going to be super awesome - at least, I hope so.
Bring on online mafia wars!
the 1st one was one of the best games i've ever played.....I can't wait for #2
Got the Screensaver now, damn i like it!
I can't wait for Mafia 2 myself. I absolutely loved the first game and i actually enjoyed it much more than Grand Theft Auto 3 and San Andreas. The story is superb, can't wait to pick this up when it comes out.
Lol for starters the pc isn't a platform, and no it won't be the same since the pc version is the only real version with superior controls. Why someone would want a watered down version of a good game is beyond me, but they barley were able to make mafia on the xbox. "I can't wait for Mafia 2 myself. I absolutely loved the first game and i actually enjoyed it much more than Grand Theft Auto 3 and San Andreas" Maybe that's because gta games have no real point besides shooting everything that you can see, and pales in comparison to mafia especially on the graphical level.
@Iceman:You are exactly right Iceman which is why i prefer Mafia to GTA. I played the Original Mafia on Ps2 which for you is probably blasphemy since the PC version is so much better (over a 80 on metacritic for PC while around 65 for console versions) but i still had a great time with the game. The story telling was superb, the only gripe i had with the first game was the load times when entering different "states". But the gameplay was a blast and the story was top notch, it puts gta to shame in my opinion.
Mafia kills GTA3 and San Andreas in terms of story. But I just like Vice City too much. The stoy, the 80's, the music everything is just so damn good in VC.
