Review: Dynasty Warriors 8 | Metro Gaming

Another summer, another Dynasty Warriors title. You could be forgiven for being so cynical, as Dynasty Warriors has become an annual franchise for Tecmo Koei Europe. More so, in fact, if you count the many spin-offs the Warriors franchise benefits from. But despite all of this, Omega Force almost always manage to progress the formula enough that Dynasty Warriors remains relevant. Dynasty Warriors 6 may not have been the true current-generation experience we all wanted, but Dynasty Warriors 7 managed to bring the series right back where it should be. Dynasty Warriors 8 proves that ambition is rarely a bad thing. (Dynasty Warriors 8, PS3, Xbox 360) 8/10
