Eurogamer's Tom Phillips explores how Ubisoft Montpellier has used the extra six months to build a better game.
I'm sure the game is going to fun and amazing, but it was a bad idea to push the date back. It's going to be overshadowed by bigger titles. It's going up against games like: Final Fantasy XIV Lost Planet 3 Diablo III Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix GTAV These are pretty big games being released within 2 or 3 weeks. I bet GTAV already has the upper hand against all of these titles and it's the last game to be released out of this bunch. It most likely would of stood a much better chance if it were released in February... They should of made it a timed exclusive for the Wii U, but added a bit more content to the 360 version due to MS's policies...
You forgot to mention Wonderful 101 and Zelda Wind Waker HD on Wii U. So it won't even sell well on the system it was originally meant for.
I doubt that. The people who own a Wii U already have been tracking this game since its announcement as an exclusive, so they are well in the know of how awesome this game can be (hell, the demo was incredible on its own). If it does sell well, I think the Wii U version will be the one with the highest numbers, but yeah, pushing the date back will give the game competition that it wouldn't get if the date stood still.
