Valve Ends Team Fortress 2 Idling For Items With Latest Update

Gamefront: "The publisher makes it clear that players will not be banned for idling, nor will they be penalized for doing so, but they certainly won’t be able to make a profit by simply sitting around doing nothing." (PC, Team Fortress 2)

Now i actually have to play to get hats, aint nobody got time for that.

okay so you've eliminated idlers, how about increasing the drop rate or increasing the drop cap so people don't have a need to idle?

The only thing they need to do now is to remove the weekly cap.

The weekly cap was introduced to punish idlers, now since they have been taken cared for it no longer makes sense to keep using it

well I mean technically there is a reason to keep it up ($$$$$$) but hopefully valve is sensible enough to remove it like you said since they no longer have to punish idlers

I wonder if the market is gonna change for price of crates then. Maybe i can sell stuff for more now

Not removing the weekly cap with the Idlers gone is just hurting the game more then the Idlers were.

I ant got no time to pay real cash just for Hats and Weapons...
