What is the Funniest Game You’ve Ever Played?

"Cameron’s review of Deadpool went up recently, and one of the few things he really enjoyed about the game was all the humor." - PSLS (3DS, Borderlands 2, Deadpool, Game & Wario, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Nintendo DS, PC, PS3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360)

So many good choices! Portal 2? Conker's Bad Fur Day? I can't decide!
shivvy24  +   779d ago
Jak 3 and Ratchet ACiT
Yi-Long  +   779d ago
For me, it has to be, Monkey Island 1 and 2.

Such a great game, so many funny lines and memorable characters.
guitarded77  +   779d ago
This is a weird one, but I'm going with SingStar. The game itself isn't funny, but if you get a group together and have a few drinks, the outcome is hilarious.
The_Con-Sept  +   778d ago
You might find it surprising but... Lollipop chainsaw. Then R&C, J&D, GTA IV, RDR, and.... Bully.
Ezz2013  +   778d ago
i know i might be the only one
but i laughed very hard in deadpool game
RustedMan  +   779d ago
Armed and Dangerous for the original Xbox, followed by Ratchet and Clank.

There are far too few games that have even the faintest hint of humor, it's absolutely ridiculous.
Donnieboi  +   779d ago
Persona 4. Chie and Teddie crack me up lol.

Edit: Also Catherine, every Disgaea game, Parappa the Rapper, and Paper Mario Sticker Star.

Murad  +   779d ago
Agreed. Teddie was hilarious without a doubt, and one of the main reason as to why the atmosphere in that game so great.
Blastoise  +   778d ago
Persona 4 definitely. In my opinion Kanji has the best moments. I can't remember a game where I've laughed out loud so much
RedDeadLB  +   778d ago
What about Battlefield Bad Company 1? That's pretty ridiculous at some points!
skept3k  +   778d ago
Surgeon Simulator, could not stop laughing the first time I watched and played it for myself.

leisure suit larry for commodore 64....wow i feel old
Tapewurm  +   778d ago
Duke Nukem Time to Kill (PS1) had some funny 80's/90's-esque one-liners. My personal favorite line from that game was "Go to sleep.......permanently" :) Still use it today.

Yo Noid?
fenome  +   779d ago
Ha! I remember that game, and those Spot games too. Wasn't the Noid from like Pizza Hut or something and Spot was Dr Pepper, I think. I don't know man, been days I can't remember

fenome  +   779d ago

mgszelda1  +   779d ago
Conker's Bad Fur Day. Why no one has tried to make another game like this is just annoying
ibroman  +   779d ago
Definately conker's bad fur day hands down.
AusRogo  +   778d ago
I still lol at the mighty poo song.. Conkers Bad Fur Day is definitely funniest for me. . Oh and Deadpool.
weekev15  +   778d ago
Looks at Avatar. Agrees now has great mighty poo song stuck in head. Still laugh at "How about some skat you little twat" any game where you get wasted then pee all over an enemy as a boss battle is up there...
PSN_ZeroOnyx  +   773d ago
Conker's bad fur day on N64 by far was the funniest. Portal 2 and bad company 1 get honorable mentions though lol.
GotHDGame  +   779d ago
Conker wins HANDS down. So sad Rare and Nintendo parted ways. Rare is not the same anymore anyway. Nintendo had a hand in every project they had, and back then Rare had some of the best talent out there. I Have no idea who wrote Bad Fur Days script, but LMAO, nothing like that had been done so well before on a home console that I ever played.
kirbyu  +   779d ago
I honestly can't answer. I don't think any game I've played is funny.
Nevers0ft  +   778d ago
Agreed. Pretty much every attempt at humour I've seen in games has fallen very flat. There's a couple of exceptions (Conker, and some old point-and-click games spring to mind) but generally speaking humour in games is more embarrassing than funny.

EDIT: Just remembered Octodad. Not played it but it *looks* hilarious.

JunioRS101  +   779d ago

I'd say Borderlands was pretty funny.

I have to say GTA The Ballad of Gay Tony.
fenome  +   779d ago
Broken Sword, Monkey Island and the way old-school Leisure Suit Larry games. They're all old though...
The most recent games that I can think of would have to be Borderlands I guess.. can't remember anything else off the top of my head.
ZeekQuattro  +   779d ago
Conker's BFD on N64.
_QQ_  +   779d ago

I can say without a doubt that the Uncharted series are the funniest games I have ever played. Borderlands being a close second.
RE_L_MAYER  +   779d ago

RE_L_MAYER  +   779d ago

Auron  +   777d ago
To me the game was so bad, it became funny. I enjoyed the game, and burned a lot of calories from laughing and crying.

LoveOfTheGame  +   778d ago
That game is OK, I prefer a similar title Fighting Force on N64.
JAMurida  +   779d ago
Dragon Age: Origins is probably the only recent game I can think of that always has me laughing with the dialogue.
TheMutator  +   779d ago
Yakuza series
KwietStorm  +   779d ago
I don't know about funniest overall, but House of the Dead 2's cutscenes were so horribly funny that I couldn't wait to clear the game segment just to get to the next one.
ginsunuva  +   779d ago
CoD.

It's genuinely laughable.
