Doom: One Is A Mind-blowing Total Reconstruction Of ID's Classic FPS With Updated Visuals & Features

DSOGaming writes: "Now this is too good to simply ignore. Modder 'adamclare87' is currently working on a total reconstruction of id Software's classic FPS, Doom. actually, this mod is based on Brutal Doom (obviously an earlier version) and expands on the game's mechanics

Yea, I'd definitely prefer Brutal Doom than this Doom: One. What, does Doom: One take inspiration off of Xbox One? xD

Introducing - in the year 2013, many games and brands shall be renamed with 'One' at the end of it!

But yea :/ the article here isn't really 'Mind blowing'.

@Mounce

funny about the "One" bit suffix for Xbox One exclusives, reminds me of a certain past console that used a higher number of bits almost on each game it had.

How dare you say that in the presence of Doom, the creator of the FPS genre, and all the CoD Games you play!
Anyways it looks pretty cool, gotta boot up my ol' Doom again and try this one out!

MilkMan1138d ago

What am I looking at here, this looks like regular ol' Doom. Not that this is a bad thing, but I dont see anything here.

CYBERHATER1138d ago

How could you miss the bloody screaming half blown corpse along with a patented flip off with obscenity before sending him to his maker? :)

Brutal doom is better,

I was more mind-blown when I realized the Doom guy isn't holding two guns in that picture.
