Flashback Review - inFAMOUS 2 - STFUandPLAY

If you suddenly possessed super powers, how would you use them? Would you be a force for good or evil? Would you use your powers to help or hurt others? These were the basic questions posed by Sucker Punch Production’s 2009 superhero open world action game, inFAMOUS. The sequel, inFAMOUS 2 also has the player ask themselves these questions but also gives the paths of good and evil personifications with two of its new cast members. How does the sequel’s journey compare to the original? (inFamous 2, inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood, PS3) -

This was one of my favorite games on the PS3, very underrated game

I know right, people should really play this game, it is one of my favorite games. Also I'm not the type of person to replay a game, just isn't me but I played Infamous 2 to play both the good and bad story. Gives awesome replay value.

Here here! Something about it was just so damn 'fun'!

Sony did it wrong when they released it within E3 time and the game suffered

It's one of the most polished games on ps3.

So what? The Last of Us was released the same week of E3 and went on to sell millions.
I2 was a mediocre game and went on to not selling that well.
Seriously surprised it even got another sequel.

@The_Truth_24_7

you dont come in and post on articles of reviews of a game you think is mediocre you dipshit.

83 on metacritic and its not ok to say metacritic is good when it gives the games you like good scores but bad when they give the games you dont like good score. these the same reviews who review all games.

Yeh and the advertisement that TLOU got and the exposure it got was a lot more than infamous 2

yeah the game is awesome and the create your own missions feature is pretty awesome. the game was underated because if you arent halo, call of duty, uncharted, or name other multiplat or well known devs people will ignore it. Thats why everyone on the xbox 360 just plays the most popular mutliplats

also anyone that calls it mediocre havent even played the game or own it.

I platinum'ed this not that long ago and from my experience playing this, I enjoyed every single improvement they made into this game from the first. This got me pumped up for Infamous: Second Son, it showed how much Sucker Punch can really evolve their sequels.

One of my favorite games of all time with some of the best game mechanics out there (except the melay combat, I hope Second Son tones that down).

Game gave me such a great experience... Glad ones around the corner for the ps4. A vita spinoff title would be much appreciated.

Criminally underrated and under-played.

I'm surprised because I know so many people who loved the first infamous and has beaten it on both playthroughs (good & evil), but haven't even given infamous2 a chance.

Infamous2 is listed as my top 3 best games this generation.

Loved inFamous, loved inFamous 2 even more for it's polished gameplay and fun action based missions, hope Second Son provides more of what made the series great again.

I never got into inFamous 2 and i'm not sure why I loved the first one I should probably try to play it again!

I just recently started replaying the first one. After I beat it again I will start another playthrough of I2. I seriously cannot wait for Second Son to come out. inFAMOUS is one of my favorite series on the PS3. I even have the collector's edition of I2.
