Yoshinori Ono, who is the producer of Street Fighter 4, revealed that he neither has the budget nor the staff for the game. The staff are working on Ultra Street Fighter 4 as you would expect.
SF needs to take a long break it already had couple of spin-offs/upgrades this gen
"Yoshinori Ono, who is the producer of Street Fighter 4, revealed that he neither has the budget nor the staff for the game." That's From CAPCOM top people. Now Gamers knows that making Games, needs Money & People. This point reinforce by Tekken Revolution's business model.
SF with Phanta Rei engine would be awesome, look at the fire particle effect in deep down, it would be awesome to see Hadouken/Shoryuken with that engine
I don't want to say how we got here but I'm done with Capcom in general. /vent
Still nned to milk sf4.
I'm pretty sure diehard fans have been begging for more out of SF4. Just check out EVO
I doubt the entire staff is needed for this update. My guess is that most of his staff is occupied with another big title. Darkstalkers has been rumored for a while.
Darkstalkers already came out and flopped hard. That series has no audience. And personally, I never liked it to be honest.
The hd re-release of Darkstalkers was there to test the ground and demands . It failed thus probably killed any chance of a current or next gen darkstalker game . I do hope Darkstakers is in R&d right now , but i'm not holding my breath
It will b out end 2014
SF IV made a lot of money for Capcom and SF fans also request for SF V. So, i'm sure they will made SF V for next gen consoles.
I'll wait for the PS4 version. As a matter of fact, I'll wait for the EX, Arcade, EX+Alpha, Turbo, and Anniversary editions as well.
From a gamer who is not in depth with the fighting scene.... this installation of SF4 would be annoying To purist and ones who love fighting games in general.... this is exciting because characters are rebalanced. I personally think it would have been fine if they made a ver.2013 update..... but they have added characters so that is a plus
