In multiplayer games the true professionals show. The Gameswelt editors selected the ten best and most popular multiplayer maps. (Battlefield 1942, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising, Counter-Strike, Halo, PC, PS3, Retro, Wii, Wii U, Xbox, Xbox 360)

If u ever played metal Gear Online u would see they had some of the most balanced maps ever. Some people have recreated them in Far Cry 3's level editor (ps3) and breaking down the maps alone would make for a great study on level design.

Also Counter-Strike's maps are very balanced too. And some of MW2's maps. After MW2, the maps (and subsequently the spawns) in COD games really started to get rediculously unbalanced.
