Deadly Premonition Review – “Isn't that right, Zach?” | XGN

Despite itself, Deadly Premonition is one of the most unusual and amazing videogames ever released. It lacks the polish and big budget hallmarks of most modern classics, but makes up for it with sheer heart and one of the most gratifying and enjoyable game worlds out there. Gamers who prize the experience over the technical competency of a game will get an unbelievable amount of satisfaction from such an unusual title. There has never been any videogame like Deadly Premonition, and it's nigh-on impossible to decide whether this is a good or bad thing. After all, what other videogame sees you battling a transvestite inside a clocktower, or discussing the unsanitary use of female skulls as urine receptacles over lunch? (Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, PS3) 9/10
