Saito: Dragon Quest X Perfect for MMO Beginners, FFXIV is for the Hardcore; Will Last 10 or 20 Year

Many were surprised by the timing of the PC release of Dragon Quest X, even more so because it’ll come just a month after another MMORPG by Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, will hit the shelves. Dragon Quest X producer Yosuke Saito isn’t too worried about internal competition. (Dragon Quest X, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, PC, PS3, PS4, Wii, Wii U)

What's the point of saying that , It has monthly fees in the first place so what makes him so sure that this game will reach the Casual market ?

"casual" has nothing to do with money. A lot of casual gamers have a lot of money to spend, they're casuals because they work. Casual is just a matter of how much time and dedication one spends on games.

Say that to the casuals who buy stuff in F2P games.

Its annoying how ff14 and this have monthly fees every mmo should just be f2p from the beginning they usually do better when that happens.

It's a shame Dragon Quest isn't coming to the PS3/PS4. I would have given it a shot
