Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Preview | GamEvo

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn is a very good game that offers endless hours of fun. There are areas for improvement in the design, but it is fun to play and the mission of populate the game with content is more than accomplished. Unfortunately it's hard to recommend the PS3 version because I honestly do not think that can offer a similar experience like the PC version. (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, PC, PS3)

I can speak for the PS3 version as I am in the closed beta and can safely say that the game is very very good and I did not encounter any problems at all.

The only problem I found was me going to work with no sleep because I couldn't stop playing. It is very addictive and there is always something to do, besides your own missions there are random public events where you join as you wonder areas and defeat the enemies with other fellow gamers from PC and PS3.

There's a lot more to it but going into detail would take me a long time.
All I can say is, if you like MMOs and like Final Fantasy, this a must buy for you.

Yup, been on the PS3 beta since getting the key and I'm worried about my social/work life when this game launches. I've had so much fun. Really loving FFxiv.

This game sucks you in and doesn't let go...of course until the beta ended. Can't wait for launch or better yet, phase 4.
