Gi - Time and Eternity (PS3) Review

Gi - Accurately translating anime through the medium of video games has never been an easy road. Hardware on gaming platforms has always been one of the primary issues for displaying anime they way it is intended. How can developers take the stylistic and intricate animations from the source material and turn it into something that resembles a game? More often than not, the solution has been pared down into fighting games. (PS3, Time and Eternity) 72/100

See this & a few other reviews of this game gets the concept & the attempt Imageepoch was trying to go for with this game.

I've seen too many of these scores that state the game is 'broken' or unplayable, when it is really not. The game is playable, has a unique style, yeah it is stereotypically Japanese but that shouldn't be a negative towards the game. An anime style JRPG will always have its sexual inuendoes, Japanese humor, & anything else that associates with these JRPGs.

The game is a niche game, it caters to a VERY specific audience & i know not a lot of gamers will like this game just cause it is not for them & that is fine. Just bear in mind that there are a lot of gamers that will enjoy this game for what it is.

So good on GamingIllustrated for writing a truthful & honest review.

Oh I am so glad another publication enjoyed this. I scored it 3.5/5 for much the same reason :-)
