Why The Hell Am I Still Playing Animal Crossing?

Gamers-Association editor Ridge Dermody hates how addicting Animal Crossing: New Leaf is. (3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf)

There's no other game like it. Addiction without an ounce of violence or blood spilled.

Pure nirvana.

Is it really that good? Never got into animal crossing, but I'm willing to give it a chance.
@ below thanks! I think i'll do just that.

Yeah it is. If u want, get the first animal crossing from the NDS really cheap to see if u like it. Afterwards buy the newest one for 3ds (preferably new so nintendo's devs gets paid) if u liked the older version.

its broken i tell you
once you put it on your 3ds slot you'll be having a hard time pulling it out or turn it off

This game is addicting as hell. I think I'm even more addicted to this one then I was to Wild World. Most of the new stuff is small, such as new furniture, etc, but there's a LOT of small changes and tweaks in this game. It's going to take a while to find them all. For example, the other day one of the animals showed me that I could fish off a cliff if there was water directly under it. I'm constantly learning new things, which makes me want to play more.

I hadn't played Animal Crossing since the original Gamecube title, and I can't put it down. It's the perfect game for when you want to relax.
