Don't Listen to Them - Gaming Is Good For You

The media has labelled gaming as a negative influence on children and adults alike, seemingly without considering research which is discovering beneficial side effects in education, the development of problem solving skills and brain function. Research can show almost anything you want it to. Not that i don't think Videogames can be good for you.

The mainstream media is idiotic and ignorant on so many levels and topics.

Video gaming is not one of its strong points and I can understand why games can be good for you.

- Hand to eye co-ordination
- problem solving
- reaction speeds
- multitasking
- etc etc

Twitch based games like quake and unreal help me react more quickly. Games like ddr ( on the phone and in arcades) improve my coordination of my hands, legs and feet. Games like battlefield helps me understand physics in the real world ( knowing the rate a rocket drops isn't really helpful irl lol) alot of games make me think outside the box( that difficult puzzel or part that makes us think for a hour.) Games are good for ya.
