First 48: Anno Online Impressions | RealGamerNewz

Jon of RealGamerNewz writes, "Anno Online can be compared to SimCity once you get the hang of it. It’s basically a non-violent real-time-strategy game that allows you to build and build while being challenged to balance and control the flow of resources. You will have to weigh out your budget and prevent from running at a loss while also trying to expand your reach and populate your land with people. Starting out can be frustrating for new players, but thankfully there are plenty of respectable people online playing it to help you along.

Once you get really deep into the mechanics and understand what you are doing you will be able to easily play the game without thinking too hard. At this point the game becomes very addictive and enjoyable as you gain a full appreciation for the simulation that’s taking place. It’s something like a mix between playing god and playing a video game."
