How Many More Generations of Pokemon Are Possible?

With Pokemon’s 6th generation beginning this year and the Pokemon count at now around 800 with X and Y, fans have to wonder just how long this can keep going on for. (3DS, Nintendo DS)

Just do like I did in Spanish class and add 'O' to the end of every word. TADA! A new generation.

You're welcome.

I think the real question is how big is the Pokemon world. I mean all these new regions...the world must be huge.

Seeing how every generation region is based on a real place it could go for a long time as far as people are still buying the games. Like Kanto, johto, hoenn and sinnoh are based on Japan. Unova based on new York while the newest pokemon X and Y is based on Paris.

At least have to make it to 1000

What kind of question is that? It can obviously go on forever, but it's impossible to say if designs will continue to fall or improve in the future.

It will never end! As long as people enjoy the games they will make more hopefully they do a 3d pokemon eventually!
