One Month Later: Which E3 Debuts Are Still Interesting?

Matt Randisi writes, Everyone loves new ideas and surprises when it comes to E3 announcements. It’s sad that all too often there aren’t many to speak of yet the quality has been somewhat agreeable in the past few years; after all games like Watch Dogs were announced last year and is still one of the most anticipated titles this year. E3 2013 arguably brought the best of both quantity and quality in a very long time; you can thank the fact that we are in the transition to the new generation proper.

While it’s great to see new ideas, some of them tend to fizzle out as time goes on or even upon their release (FUSE anyone?). So let’s take a look at 5 new IPs recently announced that have maintained the hype and potential to remain larger than blips on our radar now and well into the future. (Destiny, E3, PC, Project Spark, PS4, The Evil Within, The Order: 1886, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Xbox One)

I'm still looking forward to The Division, Watch Dogs, EOS, The Order 1886, Destiny, Killzone SF, Drive Club, Final Fantasy XV, KH3, BF4 and Infamous SS. All of this will be played on my lead gaming platform which is the PS4! I was happy during E3 just for my beloved console.

Sunset Overdrive looks like it will be good fun, but I won't hold my hopes too high on that one.

Hard to get that excited Halo or Sunset Overdrive without seeing gameplay. When I see Halo in action, then I'll be excited.

Destiny looks good as well as The Order 1886, and Halo.

I'm glad to see you you got some taste, too bad The Order is not coming to Xbone. I've written an email to SONY requesting them to keep and make sure all the first party devs will never go multiplatform again. I could care less about Insomniac's SO, as they suck now anyway,. FUSE tells everything. But as for the rest of the SONY's 1st party devs, all those awesome experiences and awesone AAA games are to be kept on the PS4 only. I don't mind for Titanfall to come to our console but not our games to XBone. It does't work that way.

PS4: Greatness Awaits

@Valen

You realize a company the size of MS can buy out any studio they want? They made tons of games multi platform like GTA and FF.

First Party Devs means dev studios owned by Sony which will never go multiplatform.

you are what's bad about modern gamers, childish enough to want a game company to keep exclusivity as in a less amount of people experience great games instead of as many people as possible buying and enjoying them, not to mention you're a hypocrite

yes it does and it always will, grow up a little because there needs to be WAY less gamers like you
