Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus in Development Since 2012, E3 Absence and Budget Price Discussed

James Stevenson proves that he deserves to work at Insomniac Games as it seems as though he hasn’t slept since the announcement of Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, or just Nexus depending where you live, yesterday. - PSLS (PS3, Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus)

Not too surprising given that they have all the assets readily available.

Yeah, having already released two full fledged Ratchet games on the PS3, all they have to do now is make new levels and weapons and tweak the engine here and there

Which is probably the main reason why its only $30. Better tech improves the look regardless :p

More R&C for cheap?

Im excited. and cannot wait for this game. It's been a while Insomniac, welcome back.

I have my doubts about this game. I'm not really feeling the confidence of Insomniac. I mean, they showed off Overstrike when it was nothing but CG and Ted Price wouldn't shut up about it after it was announced. So how would the game have gotten lost in the noise when it's one of Sony's biggest franchises? Add that to their track record over the last few years...

Since the last couple R&C games have been garbage (Crack in Time was the last good one), I was hoping they'd start fresh on the PS4 for this series.

I want a tools of destruction, ACIT, and up your arsenal type of game. Multiple planets with multiple missions with some being optional and others not. We only got 2 full sized adventures this gen while others were short downloadable games and one wasnt a R&C experience.

In development since 2012 and coming out in 2013?... Eeeeeehh... I don't know what to think about this. Still buying, but I really hope the game manages to at least somewhat live up to the quality level of ACiT.

The trailer looked fantastic. It is giving me Crack in Time vibes. Very high hopes for this game. I hope a physically copy comes out. I am a filthy collector.
