Let's Be Real About Our Unplayed Steam Games

Kotaku - Look, I know how easy it is to buy something on sale. There's probably nothing I can say that will stop you from indulging in the yearly Steam summer sale. Still, I find that sale time is a good time to reflect on my PC gaming library—specifically, the tons of games I haven't played yet. (PC, Steam)

I have atleast, ATLEAST 50 games I haven't played yet. I just started playing Deus Ex HR two weeks ago even though I have had it in my list since launch.

This is what a digital system should provide.

I haven't even started Dragon Age as of yet. I have Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2. I dont know if they have changed anything, but when I got those I used the same keys to download the games from Origin also. Can you still do that (if anyone knows).

Dragon Age Origins + all the DLC is awesome. You should play it. Skip Dragon Age 2. Not worth your time if you like Origins. Try it if you dont like Origins.

Btw, Buyer Beware

Infestation: Survivor Stories on Steam is actually repackaged WarZ. The WarZ moderator has been banning people on Steam forums at a ridiculous rate for anyone who wrote anything negative about the game.

Al one of the Valve moderator came in to warn/review what the fuss is all about. Check out the Steam forums for the ridiculousness.

I usually use my brothers account, and he has about 25 games on there. Most of which he asn't played

Metro 2033 for example, I was the first to playit on his account and he's had it for ages.

I had to stop playingit though when you meet bourbon in the cave, he has a gun and is seen as a person who is good with his guns, but he doesnt retaliate when fired at WTF. The I had to stop plaing at that point, how can developers implement that?

I play most of the games I buy.

me too. I don't buy stuff just because there is a deal, that's the same as trowing money to the trash (and even worse if it's digital because you can't even re-sell it). I buy games that I want to play and that I know I I'll have the time to play.

I believe the first comment is regarding a sales purchase, then you play it when you have the time, but at least you already got it cheap, to play whenever you want

This is exactly my feeling. I have so many games from humble bundles like when I got Hotline Miami for $1 and it came with 4-5 other games that I didn't really want that I plan on playing later when I have the time. But $1 for hotline I wasn't going to pass up.

The chances of my PS4 library four years now coming near to half of what my Steam collection is today = zero.

Sony and MS have a lot of work to do.

Having a big game library on Steam that you don't even bother to play LOL

yep I said pc gamers don't play many if not any of there games in another article and they gave me disagrees because its true. they have low attention spans and fap all day. they aren't gamers they are elitists
ps3_pwns  +   282d ago
no they just rather have you play and enjoy the games you buy so there will be more people playing online and discussing the games like you supposed to do when you buy a game. play it. this is gaming this aint no baseball card collection chumps.

I have a rather large list of games on Steam and, despite working, I do a pretty good job of getting through them all. I never buy any titles I don't have the intention of playing sometime in the near future.

I've been on pc since this last feb. And I have 85 steam games the deals are just to good to pass up. I impulse buy all the time and the summer sales don't help. I probably haven't played half of them yet.lol
