C&C producer on campaigns: "we're still building the foundation"

GR-UK writes: We talked to C&C producer Bryan Farina during E3 about the current state of the game, and the current status on rolling campaigns into the title.

"We have work in progress on that," he explained about campaigns. "The issue is that campaigns represent a lot of effort, so you have to have a lot of the game framework done, the balance has to be there, you have to get all the map-making and scripting processes down. And campaigns are built on top of all of that.

"And so we are still in the process of building the foundation to were we can make great campaigns; but we've already started working on that. The bad news is that they won't be ready for launch this year, but the good news is that we're hoping to have the first wave of those campaigns coming soon thereafter. (Command & Conquer, E3, PC)
