5 Reasons Call Of Duty Could Soon Die

WC - In 2007, I became hooked on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. As a game, it marked a series of firsts for me – it was the first shooter I’ve ever played what wasn’t set in the past (before it was released, I’d only ever played Resistance: Fall of Man, and previous CoD titles), it was the first game I’d played that offered in depth stat progression, and it was also the first time I legitimately discovered online play – I was merely 16 at the time, and before that, gaming wasn’t the time-sucking habit that it is for me now – but I digress. Call of Duty 4 will always be fondly remembered as a wholesome experience by many fans of the series. (Call of Duty, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Well console gamers just cant get enough of it, they just have to run in hoards to buy the next release, even though its the same game with new maps lol.

COD hit detection is so bad... and it's only getting worst.

If you have slow connection then you will disagree with my remarks.

50 MB will pretty much make you host.

Host is the kiss of death with a client side server.

If they can fix the hit detection for Gears by kicking down for deticated servers then COD needs to take some of there profits and supply us with the same.

COD is too greedy.

BF provides detecated servers then they will blow cod out of the water... but they will not.

Well, I fully expected Battlefield to take a bigger bite out of the market than it has and I would have listed that as a primary reason that COD would fade away. It remains to be seen if COD will be able to hold it's own now that games like Battlefield will also be running at 60fps with much more advanced graphics and effects than COD's current engine can offer.

Not really. Seriously I can't think of one that copies and paste as much as call of duty. Name a few for me please.

Only 5 reasons? Every shooter series has its day, and given this series hasnt truly innovated in so many years due to the lure of the almighty dollar, that day has long past. Good riddance.

Its a shame there will still be millions of mouth-breathing sheep who will run out to buy this utter POS instead of another game that infinitely better on all fronts.
