Thief: Or is that Dishonored II?

Something the Thief series did very well was that it actually forced you to use the stealth aspect to accomplish your mission, as you played a thief, not an assassin or ninja. So the Thief titles required some very tactical play and serious planning, hence why I sucked at these games like you wouldn’t believe. (PS3, PS4, Thief, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Or is Dishonored, Thief 3?
Thief has been around for a lot longer than Dishonored. Yes both games have probably taken a few ideas from each other, yes both games have similar ideas behind them, yes in both games there is diversity. Does that mean that one is copying the other?
