Resonance Of Fate Review - Faulty Pixel

Gaming these days seems to be almost exclusively dictated by AAA games. From trends in mechanics to headlines generated, it’s all dominated by the big name brands. Whether it’s the latest setting for Assassin’s Creed or what’s next for Bungie or whatever, when it comes to gaming you can’t see the wood for the AAA trees.

Being a correspondent for a gaming site, naturally this means a lot of my time is spent on the big hitters in the industry. This is only natural as near enough everyone wants to hear about the next big-budget blockbuster game; and why wouldn’t they? After all, they’re big names because they’re (usually) hot property long in quality and short on flaws right? (PS3, Resonance of Fate, Xbox 360) -

This is one of my favorite RPGs of last gen. So much fun. It's sad that we'll probably never get a sequel. I would've liked to see tri-Ace expand on the gun combat and maybe give us more guns and more special moves.

It's an ok game. Story was absolutely ridiculous almost non existence. Gameplay is repetitive, but quite fun at times. Game gets better once you get the second machine gun really.

This is one of the best game I played this generation and my first platinum trophy, I want them to make a sequel.

I enjoyed this as well, but realistically, we'll probably not see a sequel. They intended it to be a trilogy, if i remember correctly.

Loved this game. The combat was a great mix of action and strategy. The graphics were also a huge plus. Such a shame there wasnt another like this.

lol I really liked the clothes you could purchase for the characters in this game. They were highly detailed with nice textures. I spent hours combining different designs for them. Whenever I got bored with what they wore I'd change it and it'd give the game a fresh new feeling.
