Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag manga announced

Japanese manga magazine Jump Kai will start publishing a manga centered around Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag starting with its upcoming September issue, the magazine revealed on their website.

The manga will star game protagonist Edward Kenway in an original story, as he gets himself involved in the conflict between the Templars and the Assassins.

The story is written by Yano Takashi, who has already written many works related to Japanese history. Illustrations are provided by Oiwa Kenji, known for the manga series Welcome to the NHK.

The first chapter of the manga is set to premiere in the September issue of the magazine, which releases on August 10. (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Culture, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
