iamagamer to challenge gender perceptions with protagonist jam

150 game designers, developers, artists and more are descending on the iamagamer jam in Vancouver this weekend to challenge gender stereotypes in gaming.

Their mission: to spend 48 hours collaborating together to create strong female protagonists that will obliterate the industry perception that games with a female lead won’t sell. (Industry, Tomb Raider)
