“Putting money, wide audience, ratings, sales charts on the first place is a wrong way of doing it.”

They say all the right things, especially with the "wide audience" remark. Certain companies could learn a thing or two from that.

Please go and make a game for a certain style of player, a certain audience. If it is good enough, engaging enough, then it will attract some players who are fans of different genres (or more casual players) that want to try out a new experience. In terms of the more casual gamers, make them want to rise to the next level, don't dumb it down to theirs in a desperate effort to attain Call of Duty-like sales numbers [note: I'm not saying all people that play Call of Duty are on a "lower level", just using a high selling game that is generally easy to get into as an example].
