Rockstar Jobs Page Hints at Grand Theft Auto V PC Port

CraveOnline writes: "Coming at the tail-end of the current generation, Grand Theft Auto V's omission of a PC version at launch has been largely controversial. The game is limited by the same hardware that Grand Theft Auto IV ran on in 2008, and within months of release its graphics will be overshadowed by next-gen games. Thankfully, a PC version isn't out of the question, and new evidence makes it appear closer to reality than once thought."

I choked on my water. Thanks.

At least tell us it's coming.

Since both major next gen consoles are pc based, GTA V should be a given for the PC eventually.

GTA5 will eventually come out on pc. It's inevitable. It has to. I just hope it will be optimised better because GTA4 is terribly optimised. You need monster pc to run GTA4 on max settings. I can't wait to see all the mods for GTA5 if it actually will come out on pc.

just like it was inevitable for RDR to come to PC :(

I know this one will though. GTA V is too big of a game not to come to PC.

LAWSON723936d ago (Edited 3936d ago )

I would not say a monster pc, I have i5 3570k and hd 7950, and play it maxed out at 1080p 60 fps. I bet when it originally came out you needed a monster rig to max it out

This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.

And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened

It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.
