Wrath of the Lich King Beta Coming Soon?

World of Warcraft's beta site seems to be active again, possibly ready for imminent Wrath of the Lich King testing.

If you go to http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com, rather than being told this page does not exist, you are redirected to http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com/game/character-copy.html

Looks like something's kicking off...

Well, I was pretty convinced that the Beta was going to start at WWI, but perhaps they are preparing for that, OR they are starting some "really closed" beta, before pouring the masses in...

Blizzard usually uses the same structure everytime on their testing.

Phase 1 is Friends and Family.
Phase 2 is random invites to Account Holders.
Phase 3 is open beta.

I don't remember an open beta for TBC though.

Nope, that is right. Also, harrisonxxi, it was like this at launch:

Phase 1 is Friends and Family.
Phase 2 is closed beta and random invites to Account Holders.
Phase 3 is open beta.
Phase 4 is release

For Burning Crusade it was:

Phase 1 = Friends and Family.
Phase 2 = Closed Beta (Press)
Phase 3 = Closed Beta (Masses)
Phase 4 = Release
