What Does Mattrick’s Exit Mean For Xbox One?

Don Mattrick, the head of the console division for Microsoft, is leaving his post to take over the role of CEO at Zynga, a company best known for its social games like FarmVille on Facebook, and its plummeting stock price since it went public. In other words, the man at the reins of the Xbox One jumped ship just months from a console launch to try and turn around a company that’s been in trouble for a while now.On the surface, it doesn’t sound like a great idea, but more importantly for gamers, it could have a definite impact on what happens to the Xbox One in the future. What Does Mattrick’s Exit Mean For Xbox One?

That the same team that created it is still in place and that they will blame him for their partial 180.

It mean s that maybe Microsoft might have come to their senses and will begin having relevant contributors to gaming associated with their console.

That it can get any worse and thus, can only get better?

I think its the best xbox related news in a long time - the guy is a cockroach.

Every time he made an announcement or got up on stage my shit would itch at his slimy gormless face and corporate PR speel.

He just reminded me so much of a dodgy used car salesman trying to sell you a bad deal.
He's probably a nice guy outside of work but that's how he came across.

And article full of fanboys. I would have never imagined.
JBSleek  +   536d ago
That he left for a better paying job and that they need to fill his position.

What does his exit mean? It means it would be really hard to find somebody more stupid to replace him with. It can only get better from here, I really don't see how it could get any worse.
